Dr. Kilpatrick started his medical career later in life. He and his wife had three children while he attended medical school and completed his residency. His medical education allowed him to live in Antigua, New York, and California. He completed his residency in Victoria and was based out of Wheelhouse Integrative Medical Clinic. He is excited to build a practice in Victoria and continue to live on this beautiful island.

Worked as GP in Calgary from 2014-2020 before moving to the Island.
Dr. Mailey is a die hard Winnipeg Jets fan who recently moved to Victoria with his wife and golden doodle Rosie. In Calgary he was a family physician with a special interest in procedures such as joint injections and skin biopsies. He also has additional training in Botox for medical and esthetic uses. On his free time he loves dog walks and golf. He looks forward to meeting his new patients and exploring this beautiful island with his family.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Dr Francois Oosthuizen came to Canada from South Africa in 2001. He practiced in a Northern Alberta community, before relocating to Victoria, BC in 2011.
He has three grown children living in Canada, Africa and Japan. Dr Oosthuizen welcomed his first grandchild in 2019. He enjoys wildlife photography. Take a look at his art in the exam rooms!

PERSONAL:
Dr. Putland worked as a locum tenens in Victoria 1996-2001. He and his wife then moved to the U.S. where his wife was able to continue her education. They lived in Georgia, Florida and Arizona over a ten year span. Dr. Putland worked with an Internal Medicine group in GA and FL where he had a Family Practice and did hospitalist work. In Florida he practice hyperbaric medicine and in Arizona he was the intake physician for The Cancer Treatment Centers of America. When he returned to Canada he established the Wheelhouse Integrative Medical Clinic as well as Eagle Creek Medical Clinic. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor (Department of Family Practice, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia). Dr. Putland also serves as Co-Site Director for the UBC Family Practice Residency Program, Victoria Site. He has two children and loves golfing, dogs, fishing, and old cars.
