Dr. Gabriel Mullin
Family Physician
Dr. Mullin grew up on the Saanich Peninsula and attended the University of Victoria completing an undergraduate degree in Microbiology. He then went on to complete his Paramedic training in Prince George. He has spent the last 5 years studying medicine and working as a junior doctor in Australia, having completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in Brisbane. He is excited to be working and living back home and in his free time enjoys being active by skiing, fishing, cycling, and hiking.

PERSONAL INFORMATION:
Dr Francois Oosthuizen came to Canada from South Africa in 2001. He practiced in a Northern Alberta community, before relocating to Victoria, BC in 2011.
He has three grown children living in Canada, Africa and Japan. Dr Oosthuizen welcomed his first grandchild in 2019. He enjoys wildlife photography. Take a look at his art in the exam rooms!

PERSONAL:
Dr. Putland worked as a locum tenens in Victoria 1996-2001. He and his wife then moved to the U.S. where his wife was able to continue her education. They lived in Georgia, Florida and Arizona over a ten year span. Dr. Putland worked with an Internal Medicine group in GA and FL where he had a Family Practice and did hospitalist work. In Florida he practice hyperbaric medicine and in Arizona he was the intake physician for The Cancer Treatment Centers of America. When he returned to Canada he established the Wheelhouse Integrative Medical Clinic as well as Eagle Creek Medical Clinic. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor (Department of Family Practice, Faculty of Medicine, University of British Columbia). Dr. Putland also serves as Co-Site Director for the UBC Family Practice Residency Program, Victoria Site. He has two children and loves golfing, dogs, fishing, and old cars.
Dr. Peter Samcoe

Dr. Samcoe completed his medical degree at the University of Calgary and his residency at McMaster University. Â He has a full scope family practice at Wheelhouse Integrative Medical Clinic.
